TNT delivers 82 tonne shipment

TNT has announced that it has delivered an 82 tonne shipment to its destination, Baddi in Himachal Pradesh, all the way from Germany. The shipment was delivered within seven days of being collected.

The consignment consisted of special equipments needed for the production of solar cells and solar silicon, engineering and process-technology services. The final movement of the shipment from Delhi to Baddi was in 11 special Thermo Mega Trailers (temperature controlled transport).

“The delivery of this consignment reflects the TNT “Sure We Can” attitude. This is the first time TNT India is transporting a consignment of this weight into India and has set the lead as an integrated express company.”  Mr. Abhik Mitra, MD, TNT India said.
