Arshiya’s Mumbai FTWZ receives Commerce Ministry notification

Arshiya International has received formal notification by the Commerce Ministry that its Free Trade Warehousing Zone (FTWZ) at Panvel, Mumbai has been gazetted as deemed foreign territory.

The formal approval for this FTWZ was recieved from the Board of Approval (BoA) of SEZs in December 2008.

ACI & Agility DGS bags DDGM contract

Missouri-based Accent Controls Inc. (ACI) and Washington’s Agility Defense & Government Services (DGS) have been awarded the contract to manage the Defense Distribution Depot Guam, Marianas (DDGM).

In its latest filing to the BSE, Noida’s auto component manufacturer, Federal-Mogul Goetze (India) Ltd, said that Jean de Montlaur has resigned from his position as Chairman. But he will continue as the Managing Director and President of the company.

The declaration was made soon after the meeting of board of directors that was held on 30th April 2009.

Sealand Terminals reduces stake in Gateway Distriparks

US-based port operator, Sealand Terminals, has reduced its stake in Gateway Distriparks Ltd from 5.97 percent to 3.64 percent after selling 2,513,500 shares worth Rs 17.59 crore through open market transactions.

The company now holds 3.64 percent (39,19,723 shares) in Gateway Distriparks.

Recently, Sealand Terminals had increased its stake in Gateway Distriparks Ltd from 0.35 percent to 5.97 percent.
